@ Little Egg Restaurant, Brooklyn
an Ugly Face Production
"With Oh, Honey, Scotti embarks on a sharp, thoughtful excavation."
"Oh, Honey feels like a much-needed wake-up call for American theater."
- Zachary Stewart, TheaterMania
"An exceptional ensemble and a clever site-specific setting enhance Jeana Scotti’s emotionally complex play."
"Every once in a while, the stars align and you find something amazing where you’d least expect it...a startlingly good piece of playwriting performed by a stellar cast."
- Nicole Jesson, Theatre Beyond Broadway
"Under Carsen Joenk’s clean, clever direction, Scotti’s writing finds a delicate equilibrium — biting, funny, and deeply humane."
- Tony Marinelli, TheaterScene
"A punch in the gut, but worth the discomfort."
- David Walters, Front Row Center
"This production succeeds in creating an experience where we’re forced to sit next to something we might not want to see, to be uncomfortably close to women we might not want to sympathize with. We’re let into a scary, chaotic glimpse of their world."
- Zoe Kaplan, Not To Be Dramatic
