ABOUT THE PLAY
It’s November 2011, London. The summer's unrest and riots have receded, for some. Fifteen-year old Jak is still trying to dissect why it happened as he craves something different from everyone around him. After disappearing 15 years ago Simone returns, needing former foster brother Mickey for something she can’t speak about. While Mickey finds himself at breaking point caught between the two people he loves, but seems unable to do enough for. Set over a Friday afternoon to Saturday morning Tracks shines a light on the complexities of broken relationships and abandonment over time. A story of growing up, getting older, love and resilience.
