Playwright
Gama (él/him/his) is a Puerto Rican children's author, casting director, playwright, screenwriter and theatre director. He holds an M.F.A in Directing from The New School (New York City) and a B.A. in Drama from University of Puerto Rico (Río Piedras). Gama is a proud member of New Light Theater Project and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. His debut Spanish language picture book, Pitu le baila al mar (Pitu Dances to the Sea) was released in December 2021 under Editorial Destellos (Puerto Rico). He is a recipient of the Van Lier Directing Fellowship at Repertorio Español. Gama received the First Prize in playwriting from Puerto Rico’s Institute of Culture for his play “Queishd&Dilit”. SMJ
Director
SMJ (they/them) is an NYC-based, mixed-race, and Trans non-binary playwright, educator, and theatermaker originally from Mount Vernon, OH. SMJ’s work will be seen in 2022 at Carnegie Mellon University, Fort Salem Theater, The Tank, & Who What Where Theatre Collective. SMJ is currently a member of the 2022 Moxie Arts Incubator and a resident artist for The Artist Co-Op & The Citadel of Playwrights. Their work has been seen in various forms throughout the US and the UK. They’ve been a resident artist with the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, The Sappho Project, Art House Productions, Fresh Ground Pepper, among others. Additionally, SMJ was recently a semifinalist for the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center’s National Playwrights Conference and directed the first high school production of Fun Home for the Ohio Educational Theatre Association. Staab is a composer and sound designer based in Brooklyn, NY. Staab was born and raised in Germany and received a BA from Oberlin College and MFA from UIUC/Krannert Center. He is an associate artist with Sinking Ship Productions. His designs have been heard at the Public Theater, Irish Repertory Theatre, Trinity Repertory Company, City Theatre Pittsburgh, Center Theatre Group, Mint Theater Company, Pearl Theatre Company, The Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference, The Drama League, New Saloon, the cell, Partial Comfort, Keen Company, Chicago Opera Vanguard and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. KP (she/her/hers) is a Texas born and raised actress and mixed media painter, who moved to New York to cultivate her technique at William Esper Studio with the guidance of William Esper and Bruce McCarty. She’s worked extensively in film and stage, and also spends her creative time painting for her collection of work, titled “Waking up to Burnt Sienna”. Celina (she/her/hers) is a recent Montclair State University graduate, who worked as a stage manager on shows such as Twelfth Night, Mad Forest, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Dance Collage 2019, and Anon(ymous) during her time there. In addition to stage management she has also worked as a choreographer and makeup designer on shows such as Hairspray Junior, High School Musical Junior, and Legally Blonde Junior with the Belleville Middle School Theatre Arts Company. Her recent credits include the new works Bundle of Sticks as a production assisstant and Word On The Street as the production stage manager at INTAR Theatre.

Jæ (they/them/she/her) is a singer and performer based in New York City. Identifying as non-binary trans femme, Jae uses they them & she her pronouns. She is currently signed to TransTrenderz, the first Trans operated and focused music label! Jae has been featured in publications like TheGrio, Them. & Paper Magazine with the label debut single, “Splash.” Followed up by her solo single, “Independent Femme” Jae can be seen performing their solo Cabaret show “Group Therapy” twice a month at Rockbar NYC. His movie debut was with the character of Ben in Under Suspicion directed by Stephen Hopkins; starring Gene Hackman and Morgan Freeman.
