Meet the hollower Team

Liza Birkenmeier

Liza is currently an Audrey Resident at New Georges and a recent member of the Emerging Writers Group at the Public Theater. Her work has been developed at Rattlestick, Lincoln Center Directors Lab, City Theater, Ars Nova, University Settlement, The Playwrights Realm, The San Diego Museum of Art, Invisible Dog Brooklyn, San Francisco Playhouse, and elsewhere. Her play radio island will premiere this summer in the NYSAF Powerhouse season. She has been awarded fellowships at Yaddo and The MacDowell Colony. She received her BA from Washington University in St. Louis and her MFA from Carnegie Mellon under Rob Handel.

Kristy Dodson

Kristy’s directorial work has been seen at Lincoln Center Theater, The Public Theater, The McCarter Theater, Labyrinth Theatre Co, Rattlestick, Theatre Row, The Lark Play Development Center, among others. She was the founding Artistic Director of Overturn Theatre, where she commissioned and produced an array of new works that focused on questioning universals through artistic exploration. She has worked administratively in Artistic, Production, Literary, and Development at The Vineyard Theatre, The Lark Play Development Center, Theatre 167, Planet Connections, EyeKnee Coordination, and Making Books Sing. Kristy is an honorary member and curator of the Little People Of America Dwarf Artist Coalition. MFA from Brooklyn College.

Reyna de Courcy

Reyna's theatre credits include: Luna Gale at the Goodman Theatre and the Kirk Douglas in Los Angeles; The Whale with Playwrights Horizons; Burning with The New Group; Orange, Hat & Grace with Soho Rep; Civilization (All You Can Eat), and The World My Mama Raised with Clubbed Thumb. Film credits include Wetlands, Beach Pillows, Coming Up Roses, and Girls Against Boys. 

ToniAnne DiFilippo

ToniAnne has her BFA in Theater Arts from Five Towns College. She is a resident artist with New Light Theater Project, serving as the Technical Director for Sight Unseen, Breeders, Time Stands Still, and the hollower! (How cool right!?)). This will be her first time performing with the company and she is so thrilled at the opportunity to do so!

Samuel Im
Wilkin Rush George III

Samuel is a Baltimore born, New York based actor. NY stage credits include: Distant Observer: Tokyo/New York Correspondence (La MaMa), Gil vs the Galaxy (Insomnium Theater Company), BEARDO Pipeline Theater Company), Serials@TheFlea (Flea Theater), If... Then (NY Fringe). BFA: NYU Tisch (ETW).

Patrena Murray

Patrena is grateful to be a part of this production. Her most recent credits are ‘Masculinity Max’, ‘The Winter’s Tale’, ‘A MidSummer Night’s Dream’ at The Public Theater; ‘Venus', ‘The Death of the Last Black Man in the Whole Entire World’ at The Signature Theater; ‘Father Comes Home from the Wars (parts 1,2,& 3) at The Mark Taper Forum & A.R.T.

Ryan Wesley Stinnett

Ryan is a performer, comedian, writer and member of the resident acting company at The Flea Theater. Flea credits include: LOCKED UP BITCHES (Dir. Michael Raine), Take Care (Dir. Niegel Smith), The Nomad (Dir. Elizabeth Swados), and #Serials@TheFlea. His full-length comedies include: The Ryan Wesley Stinnett Show: The Greatest Television Show Not on Television (SOLOCOM) and Courtney, Ryan & The Great Ham Factory Fire of 2012 (The PIT Loft). MFA in Acting: The University of Virginia.

Leila Ben-Abdallah 
Prop Designer

Leila is a props designer, puppeteer, and performer. Leila has designed and constructed props for The Flea Theater, The Box Show (, and her original comedic solo shows. As a performer, Leila contributed writing and hosted the upcoming series Preggo Nancy for

You-Shin Chen 
Scenic Designer

You-Shin is a New York based scenic designer for performing arts. Originally born and raised in Taiwan, she came to New York to attend NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she received her MFA in 2014. As a theater practitioner, You-Shin  is committed to diversity and humanity.

Andy Evan Cohen 
Sound Designer

Andy's NLTP credits include: Time Stands Still, Still Dance the Stars, Sight Unseen, A Burial Place, Two of Us, Strange Country, In the Soundless Awe, Monte Cristo. Other credits: In Bed With Roy Cohn, I Know What Boys Want, A Midsummer Night's Dream (MasterWorks); An American Soldier (59E59, Edinburgh Fringe, US Tour); Unmentionables (Nylon Fusion), In Vestments (NYIT Award Overall Production). Oberlin & Manhattan School of Music.

Max Archimedes Levitt 
Costume Designer

Max Archimedes Levitt (Pinwheel Pinwheel)'s work is excessively creative. He styles and builds evocative costumes with a heavy fusion of fashion, night-life, and people watching.His work has been seen on stages in Europe, as well as all over the East Coast and Mid-West. By day, he works as a Draper, First Hand, and Stitcher. By night he is night-life clown Pinwheel Pinwheel, a formidable triple threat: dairy, dancing, and dynamite. Carolyn Wong
Lighting Designer

Carolyn is a lighting designer whose recent work includes One Thousand Nights and One Day (Prospect Theater Company), Bullets Over Broadway (National Tour), Rockin’ Road to Dublin (National Tour), Une Autre Passion (Le Ballet du Grande Théâtre de Genève).  She is an alumna of Oberlin College, and a native of San Francisco.
