LUIS MIRANDA, JR.  – 5000 Broadway Productions

Luis has served in three New York City mayoral administrations. A special advisor for Hispanic Affairs to former Mayor Edward I. Koch, Mr. Miranda served as director of the Mayor’s Office for Hispanic Affairs from 1984 to 1987.  Luis has been founder and board member of many non-profits including Hispanic Federation, Campaign for Fiscal Equity and the Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance. Luis currently sits on the advisory boards of the John Jay College Foundation, The Public Theater, R.Evolucion Latina and is the chairperson of The Broadway League’s Latino audience development program, Viva Broadway. Mr. Miranda is currently managing partner of the MirRam Group.
